Hey guys just wondering my partner is type one diabetic we have two children already and ttc the third . His blood sugars are under quite good control just wondering if the likes of wellman trying for a baby vitamins are safe for him? He's not due to see his specialist for a while who of course we will consult ? Wanted to give them a go soon . Only thing I'm concerned about is the inositol in them?? The zinc etc is all good and as far as I can see none of the male vits contain glucose ..

Could you get a telephone appointment with your GP or a nurse? Quicker than waiting for your specialist

Yeh he's going to gp this week for a full blood work up anyway so he's gonna query it. There's only 40mg in one of the tablets which is nothing given u can safely take a few grams a day of inositol a day. He's been type one for 10 years and thankfully suffers no drastic ill health bad yet 🙏🏻 and we successfully conceived five years ago . But he's 40 now and it's taking a little longer than last time . Xx

What's your concern about the zinc? As far as I'm aware multivitamins are fine for people with type one. Good luck with ttc

Hey thanks for the reply no it's the inositol I wondered about as I know it has an effect on blood sugar metabolism for what I know it's a positive influence on blood sugars but that can be something soooo diff for type one . Zinc I think is great for swimmers I don't know why I typed that before lol xx
