Could I be ovulating just 11 days after miscarriage?

Hi everyone.

I'm 21 and unfortunately lost my first pregnancy to a missed miscarriage (was supposed to be 12 weeks but a scan revealed baby hadn't developed past six weeks). I had an ERPC procedure on the 11th.

I SEEMED to stop bleeding on the 19th, but after a day of no bleeding I got another day of red spotting before it stopped completely yesterday. For the last two or three days I've been getting clear or white-ish discharge along with pain in my right side very similar to ovulation pain. Yesterday I got a 'gush' of very watery clear discharge that soaked my underwear. Still not sure what that was. Haven't had it since.

Today I've been getting quite a bit of thick white-ish discharge, especially noticeable when I wipe after going to the toilet. Fiancé and I have taken a 'see what happens' approach and did the do for the first time today since my ERPC.

According to my period tracking app I'm going to ovulate tomorrow, but surely my miscarriage will have thrown my cycle out of whack? I'd be delighted if I'm ovulating just 11 days after my ERPC, but surely it's too good to be true? I've heard it can take several weeks for your cycle to return to normal. I took a pregnancy test two days ago and it was positive, but said 1-2 weeks so clearly there's not a great deal of hormone left.

The last time my fiancé and I had sex very close to ovulation I got pregnant straight away, but unfortunately that was the pregnancy we lost. There's nothing I want more than to be pregnant again, so I certainly hope I'm ovulating, but 11 days after an ERPC??

Thanks everyone Flowers

I ovulated about 13 days after a miscarriage in February op and fell pregnant. Wasn't tracking at all as assumed it would take a while. It didn't! I'm twice your age so probably less fertile too. Sorry for your loss - I hope your cycle gets back on track for you.

It's possible but I wouldn't take an app's word for it. For many or most people your cycle is longer than usual because it takes a while for HCG to clear your system and your hormones to rebalance - in fact it can sometimes take several months. It took 7 weeks for my first period after an early miscarriage and I don't think I ovulated at all that cycle.

I hope you are able to conceive again successfully soon though.
