Yep i did, 5 yrs ago, noy sure if that makes any difference (time scale) but they may have improved it.

not

I don't think the pill will have any effect on the test result

I was on microgynon 30 for years until I started to bleed inbetween periods and it had caused cervical erosion so went onto loestrin 20 as I had to reduce the oestrogen amount. Apart from that never had probs. My sister also had to swap as she ended up crying every day and it was too much oestrogen for her too.
I used to regularly carry over packs and sister's doc told her that theoretically you could do it constantly for a good while without a break so I wouldn't have thought that you could easily get pregnant unless you've had antibiotics or something that reduced its effectiveness?

That will teach me to not read the OP properly, i thought you asking for risks, in answer to the test question...i tested and it came up with a very unwanted positive result.

I have been off Microgynon for 9 months and still not pregnant. Not sure if that helps as a control case

morning after pill is less effective than taking the pill regularly - eg not missing any, not taking antibiotics or suffering vomiting etc
YOu are hugely unlikely to be pregnant. Why do you think you might be? You could do a test if you wanted. The pill would have no effect.

I know someone who got pregnant a couple of times whilst on the pill but no-one took her seriously and the GP/hv inferred that she hadn't used it correctly. That wasn't the case at all and had taken it very carefully to the letter. I guess there are a few people who it might be less effective for.
