Most reliable early test?

I need the help of you wise people...

period due around now (cycles are very erratic so I could be 4 days late or 4 days to go). Really strong period type pains yesterday but no bleeding. Feeling nauseous and just a bit off.
Pregnancy tests done today:
-First response (up to 6 days before period one) = pregnant

• clear blue (up to 6 days before period one) = not pregnant
• clear blue (ordinary)= very very very faint line

-clearblue digital= not pregnant (but took test apart and two lines inside).

Gahh...am I pregnant??

I would say yes, you're not going to get a positive if you're not pregnant. The others are just not picking up the HCG yet.
I tested on the day my period was due and got a very very faint line.
I tested each day after that and the line became darker each day :)

Thank you snowball. I'm trying not to get too excited in case the clearblue ones are right but I've just found something online that says the ones wity pink dye (like the first response ones) are more sensitive so fingers crossed!

Clear blue are crap. All their normal ones show a really faint line and the digitals need quite high concentrations of HCG to show a positive.

You are best with a first response. If that was positive, then you are pregnant.

Thank you. Clear blue showed a stronger line this morning so I suspect the hormone level was just too low for it to pick up previously.

Excellent! Give it 2 days and a digital should show up.
