Hi ladies, do any of you take pregnacare and did you find it made a difference to your cycle length? I was taking it and I read on some forums that people had longer cycles with it so I stopped taking it in the hope that it might reduce my cycle length, but now having a longer cycle than normal gah!

Are you taking pregnacare conception. And how long are your cycles usually. I think pregnacare contains vitamins B6 which is a hormone regulator and is used on people with a short luteal phase to help lengthen their cycles x

I had pins and needles as a side effect from those, then bleeding mid cycle, then an extra long cycle! Stopped taking them after about a month! No problem since I've stopped them! All you need is folic acid really

I’ve been taking pregnacare conception too, and also wondered if it’s making my cycle slightly longer. For the past 2.5 years (as long as I’ve been paying attention), my period was an average of every 30 days (usually every 29-31 days). But it’s dragged on to 33/34 days for several cycles since I started taking pregnacare properly in late December. This month I’m on day 32 and not much signs of my period coming any time soon. (I’d rather it didn’t come and got a positive, but will wait a few more days before poas since my period’s been so slow to turn up recently anyway)

I’m finishing this lot of Pregnacare and then just going to take folic acid I think.

I use pregnacare conception. Hasn't affected my cycles at all. I think it's worth a go. Lots of things cause cycles to change, stress, diet etc. So it would be difficult to tell if pregnacare would affect it.

I came off my pill in Sep and been on the pill for 12 years so can’t remember how long my cycles were originally but they’ve been about 35 days. I thought it might be worth stopping taking Pregnacare to see if it would go down to 28 but currently on cd 38! Hmm I guess everyone’s different and will have to do a bit of trial and error!

Just to let you know we got a BFP. Not sure if Pregnacare Conception helped, but it wasn’t a hinderance anyway. Good luck!

I’m nee to Mumsnet, but have seen this thread and have also experienced this issue. My cycles are normally 27-28 days and now this month I’m on day 30 and nothing. I also found that it delayed my ovulation day so I’ve stopped taking them.

Has anyone stopped taking them and been lucky enough to conceive since ??
