Ovia app has it been wrong?

Has it been wrong for anyone? I just downloaded it, last period began on 2nd I'm usually regular every 28 days. Everywhere else is putting me at my most fertile on 15-16 but ovia is doing it for Monday . I've never used the app (or any before) but now im completely confused.

It’s only as accurate as the information you put in! The average woman ovulates 14 days BEFORE her next period eg a woman with a 28 day cycle will ovulate on day 14 whereas a woman with a 34 day cycle will ovulate on cycle day 20.

It can only guess. Your cycle length and lp will be different to other people's. For example, my lp is 12 days and my cycle around 29 days, so I know I ov approximately on cd17. Ovia will change my ov day based on cm I track because I don't do opks to tell it otherwise.

I like Ovia for lots of reasons but prefer fertility friend for a more accurate cycle interpretation.

I'm not sure how Ovia calculates fertile days but with a 28 cycle and ovulation on day 14 it would assume a 14 day luteal phase. Luteal phase varies from person to person and can be shorter or longer sometimes. @GreedyVegan I would highly recommend the book 'taking charge of your fertility'. I used the app Kindara to avoid pregnancy and then to get pregnant.

Sorry my phone is acting up. With my other children I have just left it to when it happens, but being older I thought I would download an app (regretting it now).

Don't bother then! I've been using two apps for over two years now and one bfp to show for it (mc though). So they're probably not worth all the stress.
