When to test after implantation bleeding?

I've been having exactly the same symptoms as I did with my 1st pregnancy which resulted in DD. What I think is implantation bleeding, bloating, cramps.

This wasn't exactly planned; I think I messed up with my pill. As such I have no idea when I actually would have ovulated. I THINK conception was around April 15th.

Had some lightly coloured bleeding yesterday, continuing today. I'm 99% sure I'm pregnant.

When would a BFP show up on a test? I've bought some FRER; I seem to remember these were the quickest in picking it up last time.

If you only conceived on the 15th you're 5dpo and the embryo likely hasn't implanted yet (average day for implantation is 9dpo) so I doubt it's implantation bleeding.

More likely to be breakthrough spotting if you've missed a couple of pills?

I am actively trying to conceive and think I ovulated on the 15th. I don't plan on taking a test until at least next Saturday at the earliest which would be 12/13dpo. It's too early now surely?

I might have conceived earlier. I've had spotting related to pill previously a few times and that was nothing like this though. My instinct says I'm pregnant. It's not planned, but it would be welcome. We've been together 9 years, have DD4, just bought a house, and both in stable well-paid employment.
Think I'll do one test in a day or two. I'd just like to put my mind at rest.

I got a faint BFP on the internet cheapie sticks straight after noticing implantation bleed. Not to say that will happen to everyone, just my experience. Hope you get the result you are hoping for.
