Positive OPK one day, AF the next?!

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this?!

I'm on CD 24 (usually 28) and I took an opk yesterday morning which was positive?!

But this afternoon my AF arrived 4 days early!!

Surely I wasn't ovulating yesterday?! But could there be something wrong with me?!x

It's really common to get a second lh surge just before af. This is why some people get positives on opks when they use them as pregnancy tests. It doesn't indicate ov, just a surge in the related hormones.

I'm gutted! ☹️

Had lots of symptoms this month and had my hopes, actually wasted money on a FRER test this morning to do this weekend and boom AF arrived this afternoon.

I'm usually 28 days nearly spot on every month, this month it's 4 days early!!

Heading home for a big warm bubble bath and a good cry as DH is away with work so the house to myself 😭 xx
