Hi OP.

Please don't panic. I took Clomid and this was the pattern prescribed by my fertility doctor;
Three months taking one tablet
Three months break
Three months taking two tablets
Three month break
If not pregnant look at other options.

I got pregnant with DD on the third month of my first three month break (so month 6 of my total fertility treatment). I had my second DD without needing to take fertility treatment.

Your fertility doctor should have a schedule for you to follow and would probably want you to try at least 6 months of Clomid before moving onto the next step of fertility treatment.

I got pregnant on my third month of Clomid with my eldest son (I was 39 at the time) and then on Clomid to conceive our youngest (which took 4-5 months, but I was 42).
Hang in there and give it time.
