Could anyone shed some light on day 21 bloods for me? This might sound like a silly question but do I have to get them done in order, or can I do day 21 first and then day 1-5 second?

Spotty, I think they have to be done in order. The idea is to compare so they can see if you're ovulating. I think.

@Spottyyellowdress I only had to do my day 5 once, but had to repeat day 21 a few cycles. My doc said they just needed a day 5 as the baseline which they could use for any day 21 results ... so I think it would be okay? Ie the day 5 and day 21 don't necessarily have to be on same cycle. If that makes sense!

I have a cm question. As a relative newbie of ewcm, I’m confused with mine. When I started getting it a couple of months ago, it was quite thick (sorry, I know, tmi lol) I guess like egg whites and I got it once maybe twice a day for two days. I’ve been having cm for the past 3 days now that is watery in consistency but stretchy like ewcm. Kind of like the stuff you get when you’ve been a bit, ahem, excited. But I haven’t been in the last 3 days so I know it’s not that. I’ve got bloody loads of it constantly and 90% of the time it could stretch to the moon and back but I’m confused as to why it’s watery not egg white? Or is it meant to be like that? I’ve not had it properly in so long that I’ve forgotten what it’s “supposed” to be like

Bubblegum89 I can answer with my experience- I get ewcm quite a few days before ovulation and then I have watery cm until soon after ovulation. I never have ewcm at the time I ovulate or a day or two before that. I then usually get more watery/ewcm before FP or if I’ve conceived.

In my case anyway I think that watery CM is fertile. I’ve certainly conceived on several occasions with watery CM.

I think you need to give your ewcm some distance this month as you’ve been so unwell its likely to have messed with you a bit! I’m going to guess that everyone’s is a bit different, I get it sporadically on the days I do, more quantity since I started taking royal jellee (acupuncturist) and with the risk of delving into your state of tmi i see more after a poo than a wee. This fw just gone I had loads 5&6 days before ov then less for a couple of days and then more day before ov. I often get watery but not stretchy cm at different points in my cycle, after fw I think-can’t help with stretch watery cm I’m afraid. Mines either one or the other 🤷‍♀️

Gah bloody cm. If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be obsessing about what was coming out of my vag every month, I would have laughed in your face. I did consider it could be my antibiotics. My wee has been smelling vile whilst I’ve been taking this penicillin. I suppose watery is fertile and stretchy is fertile so I should just ignore it really. And Lexie mine usually only shows up after a bm but this last few days, I only have to breathe for it to gush out of me. Bodies are weird. And really gross.

I never get obvious ewcm...maybe this is the problem! I saw it once in February (how sad that I remember this) and literally made my husband do it there and then! Didn’t work though 😂

@Bubblegum89 I think watery CM could also be an indication of BV. (I had a lot of it last month when i was diagnosed with BV.) If you are itching / burning a bit down there and your wee is cloudy.. i would get it checked out just incase.

Saying that.. you are already on antibiotics.. so... maybe not!

Checking in also! I have been quiet after a super hen weekend in Spain! It was just what I needed. I've had a letter referring me to gynaecology so that's positive. I forgot to say hubby's sperm was a fraction lower than the normal range (we didn't abstain from shagging though and he had just come back from a stag in Vegas and alcohol is the worst thing for sperm according to the consultant - oops!). Doc wasn't worried so we are getting it rechecked soon. Hope everyone is ok! What do yams actually taste like? I may try some x
