I wish @sooz that would be so cool! Imagine me introducing crazy uncle Gandalf at parties ‘oh yeah he’s a wizard 🙄’

LexieJean · 26/04/2018 08:04

Good luck @just You’ll be fine.

JaggyJobby · 26/04/2018 08:35

@Justwaitingforaline good luck at the appointment!

Si1ver · 26/04/2018 08:46

@Justwaitingforaline resting bitch face always works well.

Good luck

Justwaitingforaline · 26/04/2018 09:06

Low motility, low morphology and low count - triple whammy and below the 2.5th centile. 0.1% chance of conceiving naturally. we’re both in fairly good spirits; I think we both knew this was the case. Next steps is a referral to the fertility clinic but as we won’t get the funding, I think this is the end of the road for a good few years.

LookingAtTheStars89 · 26/04/2018 09:18

@Justwaitingforaline. That must have been a lot to take in. Without sounding airy fairy or patronising, don't give up hope just yet. Maybe once you get to the fertility clinic they can find a way to help. Your DH may have a fixable problem. Until My DH's low result I didn't realise that there are things that can cause problems for men. I am sorry though x x

@LG93. How have you found using it?

LexieJean · 26/04/2018 09:46

@just that is a triple whammy. I’m glad you’re both feeling ok(ish), that’s really tough news. There might be things your OH can try to improve some of that so see what the fertility clinic says 💐

WonkyDonk87 · 26/04/2018 12:45

@Justwaitingforaline That's a lot to take on board, hope you and DH are ok. Thanks Glad to hear you're in good spirits. Are you being referred to F.C. straight away now? Even if funding not available you should get some advice/options?

Owlpatrol · 26/04/2018 12:56

@LexieJean I really love make up....sounds a bit weird at the age of 30 to be into make up still but I'm thinking of booking a course or starting to do weddings?

LG93 · 26/04/2018 12:59

Sorry to hear it wasn't good new just but I'm glad you're feeling ok about it Flowers

@lookingatthestars89 I really like it! Dead easy to use, can put it in and forget about it and interesting to see the graph - it seems more accurate than when I tried to temp with a thermometer before too

LexieJean · 26/04/2018 13:07

Not at all @owl Go with something that excites and interests you! Do both? When you’re starting out you can offer to friends etc and can then charge once you’ve completed a course? Good luck hunting through the options! 🍀

LookingAtTheStars89 · 26/04/2018 14:24

@Owlpatrol. Ooh! Can I be a test subject? Grin I love having my make up done x

Aph413 · 26/04/2018 14:28

First night with my new ovusense, hopefully it stays just as easy to use. I'm definitely glad I don't need to set an extra alarm any more.

Miserablemouse · 26/04/2018 15:23

Oh Just that is so much to take on board. Glad you are feeling relatively positive about it though and like others have said hopefully there are fixable issues with treatment options that might help. Flowers

Aph oooh I have been looking at the ovusense so you'll have to let us know how you get on! I am terrible at temping.

LimpLettice · 26/04/2018 15:28

Owl a good friend of mine is starting a course in exactly that this year and older than you, it's not weird at all.

Ovusense looks really interesting, be keen to know how you get on. I did a bit of research into the Ava bracelet but couldn't be arsed in the end.

BGDino · 26/04/2018 15:35

So... I had my hysteroscopy and D&C on 9 April, DH and I started TTC again and having sex on the 18th... since I have no idea whether I’ve even ovulated is there any point doing a pregnancy test and if so when?!

MichaelKnightsCar · 26/04/2018 16:53

Sorry to read it's not good news @Justwaitingforaline Thanks hopefully they can suggest something at the referral?

Husband did his second SA today, hopefully it won't take 6 weeks for the results this time. He said he's going to start chasing them for the results in a week.

LG93 · 26/04/2018 19:19

@miserablemouse I was crap at temping and my charts were meaningless but getting on really well with ovusense - I'd recommend it!

starwishing · 26/04/2018 19:26

@BGDino I had my laparoscopy on the 4th April and started ttc on the 5th. We didn't conceive this cycle just gone so it wasn't worth it for us. It's always worth hoping though xx

NimbleKnitter · 26/04/2018 19:27

Just - there have been pretty good results on improving sperm quality with supplements.

Unlike women, men can make new sperm in three months, so a healthy lifestyle and lots of supplements can make a big difference.

Would he be up for it?

Miserablemouse · 26/04/2018 19:42

Thanks LG, I might have to give it a go! Does it feel weird?! I’m worried I would be able to feel the sensor and not be able to sleep haha.

Fingers crossed the results will be quicker and better michaelknightscar. My husband got his letter and pot through today, hopefully doing it next week if he can move the appointment. Is yours a repeat because of poor results first time? Was he okay? I think mine is really worrying about his. I am too j suppose, but I’m so convinced there’s something wrong with me that I haven’t really given much thought to there being an issue with his sword.

Miserablemouse · 26/04/2018 19:43

OH MY GOD *sperm not sword!!! Blush

Owlpatrol · 26/04/2018 19:45

Oooh could be onto something here!!

Well af hit me today not even had a day of spotting this time so off for bloods tomorrow morning. I'm actually fine about it this month I think it's because I am doing something about it.

I'm off to eat obsence amounts of carbs this weekend and drink plenty of plonk!

LG93 · 26/04/2018 20:01

@miserable no you can't feel it at all once it's in! No different to putting a tampon in really!

starwishing · 26/04/2018 20:05

Well my FP started Monday and has been minimal, pain free and finished yesterday lunchtime. So that's two and a half days compared to the usual 8/9 days of horrific pain! Awesome! Love laparoscopy if that's what it does!
