@thisis I tried getting a rescue cat but because of my working hours I can't, plus we can't have a male cat with our existing boy. He gets very aggressive.

Police are involved with the scam cat now because we sent a £20 deposit to him. We're getting it back luckily but I'm still pissed I'm not getting my cat. I don't know what he thinks he's achieving conning people out of small amounts of money. Especially as he used his real name. So now he's going to get caught and get a criminal record over 20 quid. The idiot.

@aph413 I am. Currently trying vitex, maca root and pre conception vitamins. I have to say I have a great deal more energy since starting the vitex and maca root. I do seem to hyper ovulate quite frequently but other than that doctors have not been able to find cause for my long cycles. Been checked for PCOS.

@Pumpkinbee what does hyper ovulate mean?

thisis it's releasing more than one egg per cycle.
pumpkin is your luteal phase still ok?
I know it says online anything between 28 and 45 days is normal length, ovbiously long cycles are no fun even if there is no reason for it.
What is vitex?

My inositol arrived in the post today. Really excited to get started with it. Online says 2-4 grams per day to help with symptoms of pcos which I know I don't have a diagnosis for but all the benefits look like they're good for anyone.
Bonus is it doesn't taste of anything, mixed it into about a shot of water and down in one. If anything it tastes slightly sweet but no aftertaste or funny taste at all. Hopefully this will really help me ovulate regularly

The bleeding is getting lighter but it's still the most painful cramping I've ever had. It's to be expected I suppose, do you think I should take a pregnancy test after I've stopped bleeding to make sure all of the hormone is out my system?
Inositol is meant to help bring forward ovulation but I have no idea how long it needs to be in my system for so I don't know when to start my opks.

Hi @Pumpkinbee I am taking Maca root too and found I had a lot more energy on it.
@Aph413 - I would be interested to see how you find the inositol as I may try that next cycle.
Did anyone have success with Agnus Castus/Vitex? It seems to get mixed reviews on threads and I think I am ovulating so don't want to mess that up. hmm.

I'll definitely let you know how I get on with it. I keep reading loads of positive things about it so fingers crossed.
I only have proof I ovulated this cycle just gone so I'm unsure on agnus castus. I'll have to see if I ovulate this cycle too.

It's a fuss and a half trying to get into the doctors round here. I've been trying since I started losing.
I'm ready for this cycle now though so I'm just waiting for the bleeding to stop and then hope it didn't completely knock my timings off.
100 opks arrived today. I'll probably still start checking at CD14 because I'm always worried that my cycle will suddenly normalise and I won't have been trying at the right time.

Yh gd plan i started testing a few days after af cause i thought the same better to test early n then u know for defo u didnt miss ovulation. Well im 2dpo according to clearblue opks dtd the 8th twice the 10th once the 11th and hopefully today lol im just hoping to see a temp rise over the nxt couple of days to confirm it. Im knackered! Hope ur cramps ease up

I can't wait for the cramping to be done. A usual period for me would have moved onto spotting by now. Obviously it's not a normal one but it's still dragging on a bit.

I never did get round to ordering soy for this cycle. Maybe I'll give it a go next time since it's a bit late for me now.

I hope ive done enough im just gonna dtd tonite anyway lol my OH will be knackered aswell hes been at work all day haha oh well sure he ll soon perk up😜..yh but uve got ur inositol to try anyway

Yep that's exactly what it is. Never really thought of it until I started trying for a baby. Now it seems that everyone except me is having one.
