Name change for this because I know I'm being a fucking idiot.

We're planning to start TTC in the next few months.

Last night we were at it like rabbits (on a bloody a Monday night!) and were not remotely careful. We also used normal lube & I read swimmers don't like that.

I'm now running away with myself & convinced I'm pregnant (and would be thrilled)

Clue says I ovulated last Thursday but I don't know how accurate that is. I don't really know when I ovulate & haven't yet started taking too much notice of changes etc.

Last month my period was a few days late, so I'm now telling myself my ovulation date could also be a bit later too. My cycle can be between 28 and 35 days. Most commonly 30 days, although last month 32. Don't know how much of this could be relevant.

I have a dull ache in my womb (?!) but otherwise feel fine.

I'm not pregnant, it would be way too early to tell, & I'm being an absolute dick, right?

Even if you end up pregnant this month, you physically can’t be pregnant yet if you only dtd last night! I’m no expert but I’m reasonably sure it takes a least a few days to implant once egg fertilises...it’s so exciting but you literally can’t be pregnant QUITE yet 😂 xx

Yeah you’re being a dick lol

I use clue and find it pretty accurate, despite my weird ass cycles. If it thinks you ovulated last week then you probably did.

It’s therefore unlikely that there’s an egg waiting to be fertilised, and even if there is you have a 2 week wait until you find out if it was fertilised and implanted.

Sorry lovely!

Yeah you’re being a dick lol you can’t gwt pregnant without an egg waiting to be fertilised. If you ov’d last week (apps are only an estimate but are generally right give or take a day or so) then having sex last night would have been far too late to conceive.

Even if you did ovulate later, the feeling you’re having in your womb is absolutely nothing to do with conception as pregnancy symptoms don’t occur until around 4-5 weeks.

Just chill :)

I use clue its only out by a day for ovulation at most and its not too late for morning after pill

Thanks all! Unbelievably, I'm usually very sensible and laidback so this is totally out of character!

Reality check achieved, I'll chill out now
