Me and DP had unprotected sex on the 7th April, when would be the absolute earliest that I can do a pregnancy test?

Four days before your period is due. The day you had sex is not that relevant.

Bloody heck. My periods are all over the place at the minute which is throwing me off.

2 weeks after ovulation. If you don’t know when you might have ovulated, 2 weeks after unprotected sex xx

It's hard to say if you don't know when you ovulated. Sperm can live a few days so if you didn't ovulate until 10th April then I wouldn't expect a test to pick anything up until around 22nd April. 2 weeks after sex is good advice as pp said. I don't know why someone said when you had sex isn't relevant Confused It is of course very relevant, especially with irregular cycles.

21st April

It’s not very relevant because sperm in optimum conditions can live a maximum of 7 days. If the op had sex 7 days before she ovulated then there is no point testing in say 10-11 days time. She would need to wait 17-18 days to test.
If the op had sex on the day of ovulation she could test in 10-12 days.
That is why the day she had sex is not really relevant.
