I stopped my pill last 2 weeks ago had a breakthrough bleed 30th-1st. I just thought AF had arrived rushed to the toilet but was just a clear white discharge. I’ve got slight cramps other than that nothing else to note. If anything I’ve felt fantastic since coming off the pill might be coincidence but mood is better I feel better skins better. Does it sound like ovulation or AF getting ready to make an appearance. I’ve been on the pill for 5 years before stopping.

Not to get ur hopes up but with both kids I had no period or signs of ovulation I just winded up pregnant within a few days/weeks lol. Both kids semi unplanned / chilled out . This one super planned 5 years later and no bfp yet.., cycle three at the mo! I would just start testing using ic and u never know . Although that does breed unhealthy habits and ocd tendencies lol xoxoxox

Sounds like ovulation to me. Clear cervical mucus and cramps are the two most common symptoms of ovulation. Cm tends to become thick/creamy or dry up completely right before your period is due

Can ovulation start as soon as 2 weeks after stopping? I must sound so thick but I’m new to all this I was lucky enough to fall straight away with my other two. I read fertility could take a while to return. What does ic mean haha 🤦🏻‍♀️

@MrsBrown28 yes ovulation can start that fast after finishing pill. After 10 years on pill I ovulated within a week of coming off mine 🙂

I’ve been on it 5years and I’m so paranoid it’s going to effect my chances of having another baby. My husband only had to look at me with my other two and I got knocked up 😆 I desperately want another baby and have an awful feeling I’m going to struggle

When I came off the pill i ovulated the first month and then not again for another 4. It eventually regulated so don't panic!

@MrsBrown28 don’t worry too much i conceived after 3 months from coming of mine with 2 proper periods in between currently 27 weeks now 🙂

@mrsbrown28 sounds like ovulation. I've been on the pill 8 years! My biggest fear was getting it out of my system and masking issues. I came off it late November was pregnant by December (sadly ended in mc) I've currently just found out I'm pregnant again. Goodluck xxx

Thank you. I’m gonna get an OPK so I can get an idea of what’s going on at least I’ll be able to have a rough idea when AF will come once I’ve caught ovulation. Def think I’m ovulating at the mo
