We are a blended family of four kids are mine and 12 and 6 I am 36 and my partner is 10 years older and has never had his own kids.... now the question has come up about having a baby together. I love being a mum but am I too old ... so much to think about opinions welcome!!

My sister and sister-in-law both had babies at your age! If it’s something you want then go for it :)

I'm 34 ttc my first. Been trying since I was 32.... 36 is not too old!!! What ever gave you that idea? Ridiculous!

My Dad was 46 when I was born. We had a wonderful relationship, but his health was always poor and constant anxiety over worrying about losing him definitely affected me growing up. When it did finally happen unexpectedly and quickly at Christmas I was very well prepared and have coped better than I thought I would. He was 78. Do be prepared to counsel your new baby during childhood and teenage years if they are anxious. Being a child of older parents is great but has its own challenges.
