Out of date OPKs

Hi everyone,

Has anyone ever used out of date OPKs before? A friend has given me her batch as she has given up TTC () and just wants to see them used, but they went out of date about 8 months ago.

I've got a new batch of clearblue digital ones waiting for me at an Amazon locker but as they're so expensive I am tempted to save them for next month and use these old ones first. Has anyone used them before?

I'm assuming the answer is going to be "they're out of date for a reason, don't be soft" but it seems a shame to just bin them.

Ooo I don’t know hoping to get mine out of the loft when we try for number two. Now you have me thinking...

I think I will still use them. If I don’t get a positive after a month or two I would probably consider buying more.

I’ve used ones that went out of date in November 2017. They work in ththe respect that they bring up a result, but no idea is the result is accurate or not as we are only in month one TTC. My view is that it is just a guide and really how can they actually go out of date?!

Thanks both! They are in sealed boxes so I think the same about how they could go out of date. Might give them a go for a month but trying to just have sex every other day anyway so we’ll see.
