@strawberrye I’m keeping everything crossed for the best possible outcome for you. How many DPO are you?

strawberrye · 23/04/2018 13:23

@hayleyfx 18dpo now. Really need to stop googling as I'm really worried this might turn out to be an ectopic from reading similar stories

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 13:33

Thanks so much ladies.

@strawberrye thinking of you babe!! It's horrendous being in that waiting room. And being on the table again for a scan. Dont worry too much about the weeks indicator one. It's the least sensitive. Especially if it's not fmu

strawberrye · 23/04/2018 13:36

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I don't really have FMU at the moment as I've been on nights this weekend. Now been up for almost 24 hours in a row and knackered so I'm going to try and get some sleep. Will keep you updated x

Claire138 · 23/04/2018 13:59

@strawberrye I’m sure you are exhausted with those working hours and this stress. Hope you can rest up and get some positive news. Everything crossed for you!

Primrose16 · 23/04/2018 14:01

How confusing @strawberrye I hope they figure out soon what’s going on.
@cakelaur yessssss! Awesome! Do you know how far along you are?

mrsd1103 · 23/04/2018 14:24

Hello ladies,
FlowersWine for all that need them. I've been lurking rather than posting.
It's almost a month since my mc, I had a blood test a fortnight ago confirming my bloods were back to normal. Both yesterday morning and again this morning I have had teeny squinters, I don't think it's leftover hormones hanging about as any tests have been negative.
So I guess I have to wait and see if they get less squinty

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 14:49

@Primrose16 I'm just under 6 weeks baby was measuring about 5+3 but had a heartbeat fluttering on screen so they said measurements could be off. So they've kept my actual dates the same at 5+6, due 18th December. 😍

@strawberrye get some rest babe. All this worry defo takes its toll and it's no good for the baby. Big hugs.

@mrsd1103 how exciting! 🤞🏻 they get darker!

17358anotherplanet · 23/04/2018 14:54

Hello, I am new to this thread. I got my BFP over the weekend. I am 5 weeks pregnant now. I had miscarriages in November 2017 and February 2018 at 5 weeks and 8 weeks respectively, so don’t really feel I can celebrate or get excited this time. Where I am now - thinking about due date, booking appointments, nursery places, gender, names, how excited 5 year old DD1 will be when we tell her - is all to familiar. And each time, the excitement and expectation have been given a sharp slap across the face. I hope I can get excited some day soon. Lots of love and comfort to everyone else in the same position 💕

Primrose16 · 23/04/2018 14:57

@Cakelaur that’s great.

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 15:41

@dulwichdays how many dpo are you?? A bad cold was my first sign last time!!! 🤞🏻you know I love a good POAS FRIDAY!!! Whoop!!!
@Claire138 you've gotta join in on Poas Friday!! It would be rude not to!! Get those frers at the ready!!
It's like spending a £5er on the lottery every week!!
@Boboelephant how are you babe? Where are you at in cycle? Coming out of Af?
@hayleyfx I still have everything crossed for you. If AF hasn't arrived... there's still a chance!! Look at me! 15dpo and finally a bfn!
@sweetpea0318 & @toasterstrudle anyone else I've missed....welcome! Sorry for your loss!! You're in the best hands being in this group. I've just got my bfp and this is still the first thread I check in on. Best ladies to surround yourself with!!

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 15:42

And to everyone else.... a massive hug. I really love all you girls!!! You're so amazing!! And the best support!!

dulwichdays · 23/04/2018 15:48

@cakelaur not 100% sure to be honest...could be 11 or 12, but didn’t do OPk’s Or BBT’s so I’m going in blind. Pre MC my cycles were 28 and my last one post MC was 29, so expecting AF any day now.

So pleased to hear your good news. I didn’t realise they could see anything so early but great to have your mind put at rest. I’d definitely consider some private reassurance scans for my next time!

Decided I’m going to try BbT again next month to get a confirmation of when I’ve ovulated. But that’s on the proviso that it doesn’t start interfering with my sleep!

sweetpea0318 · 23/04/2018 16:01

Thank you all for the lovely welcome and congratulations & good luck to those with bfp’s and possible bfp’s!

Can I ask if anyone has tried acupuncture? I’ve just got back from my first ever appt and I don’t know how to feel! She had no real empathy or explanations about what she was going to do, how it would help etc - I was just asked a couple of questions then she whacked me up on the table and started sticking the pins in (which hurt a bit actually). Afterwards she gave me a leaflet about healthy eating and told me she wanted me back weekly. Is this normal?! It all seems a bit weird & I feel a bit taken advantage of (easy money from woman desperate to be pregnant again!)

L1zz13 · 23/04/2018 16:45

It's great to read the positive news today.
4 days into my AF and the test was still a v faint positive today! I think I've seen a tiny bit of grey mc tissue in the blood too which may explain the positive tests.
Bored of period now!

Primrose16 · 23/04/2018 16:45

It’s been 34 days since my last mc and no AF yet- apart from that spotting last Thursday. I know mc messes with my cycles. But 🤔.

Melamine · 23/04/2018 16:50

The positive news is such a cheering thing to read! Yay!

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 17:00

@dulwichdays so excited for ya!! Poas Friday here we come!!!

@sweetpea0318 I'm sorry you didn't have a great session. You're supposed to come out of acupuncture feeling relaxed and positive. If you feel any other way then find a new one. You want someone who you feel listens and wants to help you. I have a chiropractor who I go to (for my back but she knows about the pregnancy and does a few extra needles to help😉) and every session she suggests something new to try and help me with back pain and now working through the pregnancy week to week. Hope it hasn't put you off.

Cakelaur · 23/04/2018 17:01

@Primrose16... I know i always say it.... BUUUT....
me: I won't encourage....
Also me: IMPLANTATION BLEED!!!
I didn't get my bfp until 15dpo!!!

hayleyfx · 23/04/2018 17:08

@strawberrye at 18dpo I would say definitely don’t worry about the negative clearblue as that needs a lot of hcg! You’re testing positive still on the other tests and a digital which is great! I’ll keep my fingers crossed that everything progresses well 🤞 Try to stay as calm as possible for yourself & bean, hugs!!
@Cakelaur thank you, you have given me hope haha! At this point I’m not too disappointed if af does show as I’d finally be out of limbo so I can move onto May! However still got a wee bit of hope left Grin

sweetpea0318 · 23/04/2018 17:09

Thanks @cakelaur - that's what I thought it should be like! A little bit of counselling and giving me a little boost and support! Def won't go back to her... not sure if will look for another or not.. going to have a think about it!

Primrose16 · 23/04/2018 17:14

@Cakelaur but I have my appointment on Wednesday morning 😭 I don’t know what to do. Do I test tomorrow to check or wait til my appointment and see if they test

Primrose16 · 23/04/2018 17:26

@sweetpea0318 I’m disappointed for you. That doesn’t sound like a nice experience. I have never had acupuncture but I assume it would be similar to a massage- a consultation first explaining what they going to do etc.

HidCat · 23/04/2018 17:58

@mrsd1103 🤞

@17358anotherplanet I hope everything goes well for you. Can you try to get an early scan?

YellowDaffodils86 · 23/04/2018 18:20

@toasterstrudle so sorry for your loss and that you are going through this. We all unfortunately know what you are going through.

@dulwichdays good luck with no symptom spotting, hope af doesnt show and bfp comes your way.

@sweetpea0318 welcome, sorry you find yourself here, it really is a rubbish thing to experience. I was 6weeks too.

@weasledee Oh that sounds awful, cant believe nobody could have least let you know privately.

@strawberrye I hope you have some answers soon and it some good news, sorry you having all this stress and worry. Hope you got some sleep.

@Cakelaur Ohhhhh so so pleased you had good news... oh little bean was seen. Hope this is a super sticky one and gives you no more trouble. X
Smile
