Heya, I'm on another TTC thread but I'm going to join here too!

I'm 33, have a DS who is 20 months, and I am in the process of miscarrying at 9 weeks (pregnancy only measured 6 weeks when scanned last week). I am a bit sad but not devastated - at the moment I'm taking the attitude that it wasn't meant to be. Both DS and this pregnancy were first-try pregnancies, so at least I know we conceive easily (or have done twice, at least, which seems promising?)

Currently thinking I will wait for one normal period before TTC again as I would like to have a reasonable idea of dates.

@Muffin so sorry for your loss. You can start TTC again whenever you feel ready, I started trying immediately too. Hope you’re doing okay

@BadBadBeans welcome and very sorry for your loss. That’s a good attitude to have. I try that sometimes but it doesn’t last long.

Just bumped into a family I used to work with. She said isn’t it about time you start popping out more babies 😡😡😡😡😡

@boboelephant sorry AF came but also glad you didn’t have to linger in the limbo stage! Also glad your scan went well! Always nice to get some worries squashed!

@daffodils77 good luck!! I’m 4dpo and the monthly hope is building that this might be the month, along with the it’s not going to happen negativity. Busy this weekend but next week I will no doubt be back to overanalysing everything 🙄

@Primrose16 Thanks. I think it is just my way of coping at the moment. I imagine if this happens more than once, the laissez faire attitude will disappear quite rapidly... Sorry about the insensitive comment you got from that lady :( Why are people so silly?!

@BadBadBeans so sorry for your loss, you seem very positive though which is great. I feel positive now however the first month or two after my MC I was an absolute mess so good on you for staying positive, it’s a hard thing to do!

@Primrose16 yeah they are classic for it! Sorry you have to go through it too. Don't see how a blood type could have any effect! Well it just takes the once! Sometimes when you stop thinking about it that's when it happens. And that is rubbish! Some people are so blissfully ignorant of the struggles. Hope you're ok.

@BadBadBeans oh I'm so sorry to see you here. I remember you from the March thread. Sorry it didn't stick. Brilliant positive attitude. I hope that can stick and you are able to conceive easily again.

Oh and not updated in a while so - no idea what’s going on with my body!! 🤦‍♀️ I’m still getting strong positive OPK’s 🙄 haven’t attempted another hpt yet since the bfn on first response! Don’t want to waste my last frer lol. I kind of just want af to arrive now so I can move on from this month, it’s been so confusing!! Thankfully work has been hectic so it’s kept my mind occupied!

@BadBadBeans sorry you are going through MC. Well dome on having a positive attitude.
Its such a sad thing to see so many people join but nice there is somewhere to

BFN 10dpo 11dpo 😩 have resisted today amd will test tomorrow with a FRER wit FMU at 13dpo.
I have had today and yesterday with nausea hanging around in the background, weird vivid dreams and some niggles in uterus area.
I really hate the limbo, symptoms spotting two phase. 😩

Also wanted to share how brave I'm being... I'm in the bath!!!! I'm trying to conquer fears this week! It's a very very cool bath. But still.

@L1zz13 I didn't either I'm afraid but then I didn't actually do any hpts after my MC, I didn't really know what to do or to look for, so I just let it happen. Ahhh..ignorance is bliss (not that it was at all blissful, but I do slightly envy the girl I was when I didn't know everything about temping, charting, poas etc!! Now I'm obsessed).

@L1zz13 I got my negative and then got af so didn't test again. Had you gotten a negative before af? If not perhaps it's still left over MC bleeding? Some people can have bleeding for weeks after.

Now that we are af twins and will be going through the craziness together again next month I will keep clinging to you 🐧 Apparerently babies 'Tenerife' and 'Sequoia' were not meant to be so new themes for Jan babies! 350 miles!!! I thought you were just moving house- not entire areas. Wow. Definitely roll on May.

Thanks all. Fingers crossed it's good news too when I get the other results but it's a relief to hear that the ovaries are good. Doc said just keep using opks as you don't want to miss it as my days skip around a bit. DH has now decided the solution is dtd every second day all month TWICE a day!!! Haha when I finally stopped laughing I explained how that might be unachievable especially with a 2 year old who wakes up at 6am. 🤣

BFN 😩 uhhh give up. Not testing anymore, waiting for AF and go through the whole bloody thing again next month.
