I’m using the Ovia app and clear blue advanced ovulation test to track my ovulation. According to the app ovulation started on Monday so I’ve been testing since then, Monday and Tuesday I got a Neg result with clearblue, Wednesday I got the flashing smiley face and then this morning I got the peak fertility face, I’m slightly confused however as the instructions say the test detects your 4 most fertile days but they also say once you reach peak ovulation it only last for 48hrs and then are past your fertile window so I was expecting the flashing face for longer before I got the peak face.
My partner works away a lot and won’t be home till tomorrow afternoon, will we have missed the window by this point? Or will peak ovulation last longer than 2 days because I only got 1 day of high ovulation? Slightly confused and the more I try and google it the more confused I get Confused

You need to start using the CB tests on the day of your cycle it says in the instructions, so for a 28 day cycle I think you need to start testing on day 7, 29 day start on day 8 etc. as it needs a baseline to work from, otherwise it can't tell when your surge starts. Some people to have pretty quick surges though, not everyone has four days of flashing before they get a static, and sometimes you can get a flashing for 6 or 7 days, it varies.
