Hi all I’m new to mumsnet and becoming a bit of a serial poster 😆

I’ve been on microgynon since having my son who is almost 5. For health reasons I’ve come off it. I finished my last pack on 27th got Period on the 30th which ended 3rd April I have no idea when to expect my period I’m so worried I’m gonna comenon when I least expect it and be very unprepared.
Before the being on the pill my periods were irregular but being on the pill for 5 years im hoping would have regulated my cycle

Thanks in advance 😘

Pills won't 'regulate' a natural cycle.

No one can tell you when it will come, unfortunately. If you ovulate, af generally arrives about two weeks later. So if you ov this 'cycle' you can tell when you'll get af. It's not uncommon to skip ovulation even when not coming off bcp.

You might get all sorts of symptoms which is your body withdrawing from the hormones it's used to getting and trying to make its own hormones.

As PP says, the pill won’t regulate your cycle.
Your cycle can be irregular coming off the pill anyway, so it’s impossible to say when your period will arrive unfortunately.
