Too early for pregnancy symptoms? Or is something wrong?

I had my AF on 28th February whilst on the pill, and then AF on 26th March (first one since coming off the pill in February). I used various ovulation calculators etc and my fertile window was apparently 2nd April until 7th. The only chance we had to do the deed was on 3rd (well technically 4th as it was 1am!). Since Friday 6th I have had cramping pains which have gradually got worse. Lots of CM, which was egg white but then yesterday it had a yellow tinge to it. I have nausea which comes and goes. Lower back ache. I feel very strange, and feel like my lower abdomen is strained, like I have over exercised (I haven’t done any exercise). I’m on CD16, and have 11 days until AF is due. The pains that I’m getting feel like I’m about to start AF.
I’m worried that there’s something wrong? Or could these be positive signs?
I find the whole ovulation thing confusing. Have tried to feel cervix and have no idea what I’m feeling for Confused

It’s far too early for pregnancy symptoms. It sounds to me like you’ve ovulated late. Ov calendars are only estimates. Do you use opks? I would suggest using them for a while to figure out your cycle more accurately

It could be something or nothing really. As the above poster has said it is too early to know really. However saying that I had cramp type pains and I thought it must have been af which I now know was implantation pain with my first (nothing with my second). I also just felt "different" both times I was pregnant even when I did a test that was negative (I was pregnant). Think you just have to wait and see.

I’m thinking maybe it’s because I have stopped taking the pill and my body is getting used to that. Just seen another thread where ladies had a lot of cramping after coming off the pill. I don’t remember feeling this awful the last time I came off it to conceive my son (now 6). I feel terrible Sad

I had this when I came off the pill. That over exercise feeling was ovulation pain. It has improved in following months but the first month off the pill was a shock. I was curled up in a ball holding myself but it didn't last long. No pregnancy so far but am only 4 months off the pill. It's taking my cycle a while to settle - it is only 25 days on average whereas before pill it was textbook 28 days.

I think ttc makes us notice every single twinge!

It’s so painful isn’t it! I didn’t feel like this at all last month, or when I can off it for our first child. Hope I don’t feel like this for long because I don’t feel like DTD when in this much pain!

Your fertile window sounds way too early. I'd definitely suggest using some ovulation strips next month and see how it compares with your calculators.

I thought that ClareB83. Every app I used all cam up with the same date. AF 28th February, and then 26th March which makes it a 26 day cycle, period lasted 5 days. Due on again on 21st April. Will invest in some ovulation strips

@Pitterpatter01
I feel exactly the same! AF is due on Monday (16th) ish, and I’ve just come off the combined pill so this is my first cycle trying for #1. I know exactly what you mean about feeling as though you’ve over exercised! I have some soreness, almost like I’ve done a few hundred sit-ups, but lower down. I’m glad someone else is experiencing the same, as I’ve seen lots about cramping but not this strange sore feeling. Hopefully it’s a sign of something good, though everyone says it’s too early for actual pregnancy symptoms. Good luck!

Awful isn’t it! I have lower back pain too and had to get up 3 times during the night for a wee. I wouldn’t mind if it meant a good outcome, but if it’s all because I have come off birth control then it’s annoying!

Good luck to you too! Fingers crossed we will both have happy baby news before long Smile
