Has this ever happened to anyone before? Does it indicate a faulty test? I'm currently holding a pregnancy test that looks very very positive but the result showed up more or less immediately and I'm wondering if I've done it wrong..?

Yes that does happen, it just means you have a strong enough concentration in hcg in your system! Congratulations!

Yep I had this a week after my original faint line. So, as above, Just means your hormones are strong which is great. Congrats!
