Ovulation CD9??

Hi all,
Hoping for a bit of reassurance...
I think my cycles are settling down still. Last month I ov'd on CD12, and today I had a flashing smiley on the CB ovulation test and have just done a cheap OPK and it is coming up as positive....is it normal/does anyone else ovulate this early?? Should I be concerned?Tahnks for any advice.

I'm no expert but just from what I've read on mumsnet before - I thought a flashing smiley was indicating coming into your fertile week and a static smiley was to indicate imminent ovulation? May be worth carrying on checking for the next few days, but no harm in baby dancing just incase ☺️

@MrsM2017 yes I think you're right! But then when I did another one this afternoon (the Internet cheapie one!) it looked positive! So I guess it would be tomorrow or he next day.... maybe I should rely on the CB one though as I'm guessing would be more accurate! Thanks for the reassurance :-)

Hi op, yes it’s not unusual. At least for me and various others on the 40+ ttc thread. How old are you?
I usually get my positive opk on anything from CD8-11.

Ah thanks @littlemimosa . I'm 31, but had a laparoscopy in jan which involved me
Having to have a temporary menopause for 3 months prior to this so am
Thinking maybe cycles still
Getting back to normal... or maybe this is my normal! been on the pill since about age 13 so no idea really what my natural cycle is like! Thank you though :-)

I was wondering about this as well and I am 2 days after my period
I checked last night as I found ovulation strips and it looks like I'm coming into my fertile window maybe as the first line is pretty dark but not as dark as the second line

@whatsgoing that's okay though, I think the second line has to be as dark or darker than the first :-) as far as I know though anyway, pretty new to all this!

I'm on cd12 today and my OPK is getting darker each time I test. I'm testing every 5 hours as I have a short Lh surge. I expect a full on positive OPK this evening. I've got EWCM too and my temps dipped today.

Am I right in thinking that temp spike shows ovulation has passed? DTD on cd8 and cd10 so far. Aiming to DTD tonight and tomorrow. X
