So we have been TTC for a while now. We DTD right on my ovulation window.

I am now a week late, but it feels like my period is about to start but hasn’t yet.

Have you taken a test? Only way to find out.

I haven’t taken a test, DH wants me to. I haven’t been wanting to because I have been disappointed the last couple times.

Only way to know is the take a test. I know it's scary.

Same boat as you! Although I took a test and got a faint positive last week and tested again and it looks negative. Hopping on this post just to see updates, hope you don't mind! X

We'll, if you are a week late, I would think there's a good chance that you're going to get a positive result. I do remember the horrible disappointment of a negative test but it's silly not to test if you dtd at the right time and your period is a week late!

I know, but the period about to start feelings make me think it’s not worth it.

I could test tonight when I finally get home. At least then we will know.

I have heard early pg symptoms (cramps, low down feeling) feel like AF is coming but then she never does. I think you should test.. hold your pee for a couple of hours this eve. As you’re a week late it should be accurate

We last tried on the 16th March. But I just started spotting so guess it’s not happening for me this time.

I got my BFP at just over 4 weeks and I spent the first week at least feeling like my period was about to start, it is a confusing feeling. Spotting could be implantation bleeding.

This was me! Didn't take the test as too scared it would be negative - finally gave in at 9 days late and DD is now 5 months.

The only symptom I had was cramps like AF was going to show

In the same situation. Been ttc for 2+ yrs. Dtd around the right time (have very irregular periods so v.difficult to know for sure). Try to most months but so far no luck. Periods are anywhere between 3-5 weeks (very occasionally longer).

Been trying to convince myself not to get my hopes up for the past few days and not to test for another week or so. Last time I was pregnant I didn't get a bfp until I was 6 weeks! Though I only tested at 4 and 6 weeks as we'd only been hoping for a couple of months and I wasn't acutely aware of every niggle etc. Like I am Now!

This will be my longest cycle for at least 2.5yrs if I'm not. Had a weak moment and did an out of date test I've had in the drawer for 4 years! (I had some silly notion that I'd have my second positive with the second test from the same pack! 🙄 Dd is 3). The control worked on it but bfn 😢.

Everytime I go to the loo I expect to wipe and get that disappointing kick in the gut! The longer it is the more I unintentionally get my hopes up!

Sorry for the long post. Was going to do a thread to get it off my chest (my dh doesn't know as he thinks I whittle too much about it 😢) but yours was the same so hopped on. Fingers crossed for you that your spotting doesn't turn into af.
