Agnus cactus- anyone else have problems?

I normally have a 30-35 day cycle. This month I started taking Agnus cactus to try and shorten it a bit. I took it from cd1 to cd 15. I am now bleeding on cd 20! I have no idea when I ovulated and got no ewcm. Has anyone else had difficulty with Agnus cactus? Do you think this caused it?

I don't think there is much point in trying to draw conclusions from just one month - it could be a complete blip.

I tried AC for three months, no problems but also no difference in my cycles.
