Can you get pregnant 2 days after ovulation

Hello I had a positive clearblue ovulation test Thursday AM. Assuming I ovulated 36 hours later as a best case scenario, that would take me to Friday evening for ovulation. It’s exactly two days after that now. My question is, is there any chance we could get pregnant if we BD tonight? I’ve been away this weekend so completely missed ovulation I think :(

No, essentially there is no chance, if that's accurate. Did you do an ovulation test the following day? I always have two days of positives.

No you can’t. Once you’ve ovulated, the egg essentially dies and there’s no longer anything there to fertilise

Didn’t do another test as once you get the static smilie face you can’t do another test for a couple of days. Thanks for the responses, I thought that was correct but thought I would double check.
