Advice needed! Trying to conceive

Hi, I had been taking cerrelle for around 7 years contastantly so I never had a break/period apart from the occasional spotting. I stopped taking the pill on 28/02/18 but never had a withdrawal bleed or a period since coming off them.

We have been ttc ever since and the last week or so I’ve had numerous pregnancy symptoms such as...nausea, sore breasts, darker Areolas and bumps around them, backache, bleeding gums, tiredness, constantly needing the toilet and so on!

I took a pregnancy test this morning (08/04/18) but it came back negative 👎

Could this just be my body adjusting to not being on the pill (although it’s been almost 6 weeks!) or could I have just tested to early?

Do you know when/if you have ovulated?

I had this my first cycle off the pill. It’s a surge in progesterone, rather than pregnancy symptoms in all likelihood.

Coming off the pill is a massive comedown period, I’m afraid you just have to wait it out :( obviously you won’t know anything for certain until your AF arrives, so you could always test once a week or so to check xxx

Thanks for replying!😘 I was using the clear blue ovulation monitor tests and got high for 16 days from 13/03 - 29/03 but never got a peak so stopped using them due to costs!

Well let’s say for arguments sake that you ovulated on the 29th that would still put you in your ‘two week wait’ and a pregnancy test may not show positive at this stage. However it’s more likely that you either ovulated a few days later or not at all because you are still coming off the pill. I would wait a week and test again xx
