I'm sure this has been discussed many times before but I can't find a thread to look at easily.

Would you say that a flashing smiley indicated the start of the FW? I've read people can get them for 10 days or more which would suggest that it's a bit optimistic.?

I had blank circle yesterday and flashing smiley today. My Q i suppose is is this the start of my FW or do you think I should wait till about 5days pre ov?

As mentioned on a previous thread, DH has a low drive at the moment so don't want to waste opportunities 😂😂

I’d guess it depends on your cycle/how regular you are.

I have high fertility from CD14-19 and then peak yesterday. It’s just been (90%) confirmed with a scan than I ovulated as I have a corpuem luetus showing.

We just tried for every other day and missed a few.... so who knows!

Sorry that’s not much help is it?

Typically I get two or three days of flashing smileys, and have always conceived when having sex a few days before ovulation ie not waiting for the static face, as I tend to have quite short surges. I’d crack on personally, given how long sperm can survive v. how long an egg can survive.

It’s not completely predictable though, I did have one month when I had flashing smileys for six days.
