Taking LH tests at night

I've been reading articles about LH tests and they say about taking between 10am-8pm but why you take them after 8pm? Any ideas?

I always take my second one before bed. One in the afternoon and another late evening. I just get better results then. It’s not the same for everyone though

I think it depends on how long your LH surge lasts, as it usually starts in the morning and could have faded by late evening.

Mine is really strong and comes up positive for a couple of days, though, so I usually test at night. I'm 38 though, so not sure having a strong LH line is a good thing.
