2dpo & staring down another abyss of symptom analysing, early test resisting, date calculating, FW debriefing crazy brain.

Anyone care to ride it out together? Welcome spotters and distractors alike x

@gemsparkle84 - I caved yesterday when we got back home from being away. Stupid - was a BFN, but also weak wee, so of course now I'm doubting it. Today my boobs are still huge and achy. Pretty convinced is just AF threatening...picked up some FRER today in Superdrug. If no AF today, will test tomorrow morning. If it can't pick up anything it means I either got OD wrong and so we havent shagged at the right time (I was away) or I'm just not preggo and my PCOSy body is being a biatch.

Meant to ask @gemsparkle84 - when is your 'safe' test day? OH said this morning ' it you don't need to test every month'. He doesn't know me AT ALL. Once I have a project, I get obsessed... 😂

@Twittlebee Promised myself this month that I wouldn't symptom spot or test until AF due.... Halo so I'm obsessing over a bubbly tummy and trying to hold out until Saturday to POAS... hmmm

clairehr I wish I could do that! Good luck with it haha, hope the TWW goes quickly for you. I am already overanalysing my cramps and tiredness haha and already said I am allowed to use a FRER 9dpo seems its my day off (I am an idiot!)

Hi @twittlebee eek hope the good feels mean something!! @clairehr majorly impressed, my only BFP showed at 10dpo so henceforth obviously cannot get past that stage without a FRER. Have at least backed up with one-steps to help manage the crazy.

Feeling less introspective about TTC this month, the value of a good distraction 🙄 definitely have increased awareness/slight sense of heaviness in uterus but honestly no other symptoms, this time last month they were raging and it was just sodding progesterone. Would be implanting today/tomorrow if upduffed. our BFP in Jan was only first proper cycle TTC so was very switched off and relaxed about symptoms - now I wish I'd paid closer attention to have something to compare it to!

Hiya, I'll join but I'm not in a proper tww. Today is my positive ov result but I'm not planning on being pregnant because I'm still new out of surgery x

Well I suspect I'm out...

Despite the nausea (symptom spotting despite saying I wouldn't), I'm still bleeding and it's heavier (although not as heavy as AF), so not sure it's implantation bleeding after all. Probably a reaction to stress, crap diet and gin Gin

I'm going to test in the morning to confirm (AF is due Wednesday)

I’m not 100% I’m in tww as the last ovulation test I did was 29/03 and it was high not peak - but I’d had 16 high days!!! The last week or so I’ve had so many symptoms that i convinced myself it could be a bfp but did a test yesterday and it was a bfn 👎 trying to wait until at least Friday to test again but I’m so impatient!😂 good luck everyone!😘

I'm genuinely one of the worst for symptom spotting to be homest, simply because I convinced myself I was good at it because with my previous two pregnancies (resulting in MC) I just 'knew' I was pregnant. And now I'm just a desperate girl hoping to start a family and praying that every twinge she feels in her tummy is a little growing baby 😂 I don't have a day off until Saturday and no real opportunity to POAS before so FX I can make it!

Jumping in here after unexpectedly having what I think was implantation bleeding from Sat-today (& v mild cramps on Sat only). Bleeding’s stopped now. We weren’t TTC but not not trying...I am trying to hold out until Wednesday to test. I have very regular 26-27 day cycles and heavy, painful periods normally- random, light, brown spotting & bleeding from CD 19-21... that’s never happened in my life. But as always, there is that seed of doubt so I have no idea how to feel right now!

@flyingplum my period is due on Saturday. The past 2 have been exactly every 4 weeks on the Saturday. I'm not sure when I ovulated but I guess around Easter weekend.

I have quite bad ov pain sometimes enough to make me groan out loud or go to gp etc that's what usually gets me poas then I get a few days of highs then a peak about cd 17... I have had scan on ovaries and blood test etc all clear they said it's just mittelsmerz .

I'm hoping mine is endometriosis related. It's never been this bad before though. Think my POD might be sensitive to all the hormones!

I've had that a couple of times and my GP said it's probably PCOS related for me (feel like they just lump everything under that though). My sister had super extreme Ov pain that she actually had a fit, turned out a cyst had burst.

I’m crazy symptom spotting already, told myself this month I wouldn’t and here I am again 🙈.

@BabyHopeful2018 how do you measure from POD? My friend does it and I've always wondered how? Is it based on averages or is there science behind it?

BabyHopeful2018 hey there! FX that this is the cycle for you!

What does POD stand for? is it same as DPO (days past Ovulation?) If so starwishing you can either use OPK (Ovulation Testing Kits) or more accurately chart your BBT (Body Basal Temp). Worth getting Fertility Friend or Flo from the app store (both free unless you want to upgrade). For some women, myself included, I get a very distinct ovulation pain. Another indicator for me that ovulation is on the way is that I have an acne break out approx. 3 days before ovulation
