Hi ladies,
Just did a frer and it came up with 2 string lines straight away. Literally as the window goes wet as the liquid goes across I got 2 lines.
Is it possible it's broken???? Just because it came up without waiting the 3 minutes you are meant to wait?

This is cycle 14 and dp has abnormal sperm so I feel shocked that this isn't a defunct test.

Is it possible it is broken if it came up as the liquid went across?

I have never had to wait at all for the lines to appear, they just were there once the urine passed the area. Sounds like congratulations are in order!

Puddingbox · 04/04/2018 20:32

Thank you. Not sure why my name is this. I am mamabooks but not sure how to change it back

Congratulations sounds like very positive news!

KnitKitty · 04/04/2018 21:21

Congratulations!

This is exactly how my BFP happened too and I was in utter, utter shock. It just wouldn't sink in. I did another FRER and the same thing happened but I still didn't believe it so I spent money on a Clear Blue digital and it came up 2-3 weeks... I had to believe the FRERs weren't faulty after that! haha

That is very positive! Couldn't be clearer lines, congratulations!

physicskate · 05/04/2018 09:51

Yup. I remember you too. I'm still struggling on... ivf in the next few months.

QueenAravisOfArchenland · 05/04/2018 09:53

FRER are sensitive. Once you're due or late they are often like this. I got a BFP that clear and fast at 1 day late Grin

KnitKitty · 05/04/2018 18:21

How exciting! Especially after trying for so long and the fertility complications! I really, really hope everything goes well, I have my fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy and happy baby.

Has it sunk in yet?

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 05/04/2018 21:27

@physicskate how are you feeling about ivf? Will it be on the nhs?
knit yes ok thank you. I did a digital this morning and it said pregnant. My dp is struggling to come to terms with the news. But I'm hoping he is just in shock and will be alright. We've been trying for over a year so it wasn't involuntary, Ha!

physicskate · 05/04/2018 22:05

Feels like it's never going to happen. I'm on nhs for one round. I'm preparing for failure (better for a pleasant surprise). I'm not working anymore so time really drags but I have no idea how I'd manage appointments with a job...

big congrats! It is nice to see people can get pregnant from sex (even if they aren't me) Wink.
