So, I was due on last Friday, about 5 days ago now but all last week I wasn't feeling very well at all.

Yesterday whilst a Tesco, I picked up a pack of 2 cheap own brand tests and there was a very faint line potentially detecting pregnancy.

Socked but excited by this I shelled out this morning on a clear blue digital and was gutted to get a negative!!!

What do people think to these?

Am I or not?!???

They look like evap lines to me. They’re thin and offcentre; Tesco and Sainsbury’s rests are known for them and IMO, should be pulled from shelves. At 5 days late, you should really be seeing a very obvious line.

Look positive to me. Congratulations! The CB aren't as sensitive.

Mmmm maybe the Tesco ones picked up the hormone more than than the clear blue... go get one that has a pink line, apparently more reliable!!! Good luck :) xxx

CB digitalis require a higher level of hormone than the non digitalis. That being said, please buy a pink dye- blues do have horrible shadowing most of the time.

Thanks ladies, will go and get a pink one, perhaps a first response one? I saw those but have never used one!!
My partner thinks I should hang fire until Friday/Saturday to re-test but I'm desperate to know!!

First response (frer) seem to be much better than the blue ones. Look online as Superdrug/boots often have them on offer so worth checking before buy :)
Best of luck

Update!

It's game over this month - just got my monthly visit I'm gutted!!

Thanks for all the positive messages it's just a case of try again this month I guess!!

Really disappointed as my cycle is usually a definate 28 days so no idea why it jumped to 33 days x

So sorry! Them blue dyes really should be pulled from the shelves!!

RLOU88 · 04/04/2018 07:44

Just more of a guess really but if you got some faint lines and a delayed period, could it have been the tail end of a chemical pregnancy you caught on the blue tests?

pickle162 · 04/04/2018 09:26

Sorry to hear that op
