Basal thermometer

Had my basal thermometer arrive this afternoon so going to start testing from tomorrow.
It says they most recommend rectual testing but do I really have to do that? Lol
Anyone else get accurate readings from underarm and is it best to test morning or evening?

I always do mine under my tongue with my mouth closed!
Don't fancy anywhere else haha.

Haha! Yes I keep it on my bedside table I do it as soon as my alarm goes off, it's most accurate before you get up and move about. Try and do it at the same time everyday.
At the weekend I still chart my temperature even tho I sleep a little longer xx
