I had AF 2 weeks ago, everything normal. Over the past couple of days I've had some pregnancy symptoms. Namely: morning sickness, extreme tiredness, sore boobs, needing to wee ALL the time and certain foods/smells I can no longer tolerate.

I did a test today, thinking that it is in no way possible for me to be pregnant and there it was... a positive.

Surely it's far too soon for me to be having such strong symptoms/positive test after only having AF 2 weeks ago?

God my head is a mess, can someone help please? Sad

Perhaps your last period wasn’t a period - could it have been implantation bleeding? If you were on day 14 if your cycle you couldn’t be just pregnant. How long did the bleeding last? Was the test one hundred percent positive?

HarshingMyMellow · 03/04/2018 15:01

@Redrosebelle
My last period was totally normal, 5 days long. Started off heavy and tapered out as always.

It's very faint, but 100% 2 lines, I'm going to do another first thing tomorrow. I showed it too my DP who is always very wary of the tests and he saw 2 lines too.

Confused

Have you got a normal picture of the test OP? I think I can see two lines but may be easier if it was in colour! x

HarshingMyMellow · 03/04/2018 15:08

I've only got really zoomed in pics, and the lighting is poor in works toilet. Sorry haha

But, here's the other pic!

I can definitely see something, I'd wait till tomorrow morning or Thursday morning to take the other one, hope its positive for you! x

mai5x · 03/04/2018 15:10

The test line looks quite faint too OP - how long after you took the test did you take the picture? x

Tink2007 · 03/04/2018 15:12

The control line should be darker than that though? Could it be a faulty test?

HarshingMyMellow · 03/04/2018 15:12

@mai5x - I thought that too, but the second line was almost instantly appearing. So I snapped a pic quickly, but before the wait time was up. I had to get in and out of the toilet as quickly as possible. (Was in the office) x

@Tink2007 - I only purchased it today, so I hope not.

But I will definitely be doing another test tomorrow morning.

HarshingMyMellow - have you still got the test on you? It may be worth having a quick look now?

The control line on FRER's is usually quite dark, I can definitely see the second line but it may have been too quick for the whole test to process! Fingers crossed for you!!!! x

HarshingMyMellow · 03/04/2018 15:15

@mai5x - no, I chucked it in the bin because I was in a blind panic rush.

I'll have to get another one on my way home! Thank you for all your quick replies x

HarshingMyMellow - oh no! Go and pick it out haha!

Let us know! Really hoping for the best for you! x

HarshingMyMellow · 04/04/2018 15:00

Just to update, I did another test this morning and it is 100% positive. It was an electronic test, no confusion on that one ha.

Thank you both! It's come as a shock to say the least, but I'm starting to come to terms now! Smile xxx
