Am I pregnant, morning after pill?

Hi, I thought I'd post here as you guys are probably the most helpful. I'm 18 and yesterday morning did the 'pullout method' with my boyfriend, no lectures please Envy
My period is currently 5 days late, however it can't be due to the unprotected sex as obviously that was afterwards. I actually did a test yesterday just to be sure (to check if pregnancy was the reason for the late period, not if I had gotten pregnant yesterday..) and it was negative.
I know getting pregnant is down to your fertility window/ovulation etc however I really know nothing about it, can anyone help me out?
Also I'm guessing I should definitely get the morning after pill, planning on getting it tomorrow, does anyone know where provides it for free? Blush
Thank you

You ovulate 14 days before your period comes
You don’t nesecarily ovulate when you think you will
A pregnancy test won’t be positive until 10-14 days after conception of you fall pregnant

Withdrawal method won’t work unless your doing charts etc

Don’t use morning after pills as contraception if your having sex you need to be an adult as it’s an adult activity and sort contraception there’s a lot out there

If you’ve been having unprotected wax and your period is late there’s a chance you are pregnant but it maybe too early for the test to show it up

Also unprotected sex isn’t safe STI HIV AIDS etc

Most chemists you can just walk in and get it from a pharmacist there and then

I would try and get the morning after pill today rather than tomorrow, the sooner you take it the more effective it is.

No lectures but you don’t seem to have the best idea about how your body works? I would recommend you work on that and use condoms from now on. Do you think your pregnant because you have used this method all along?

Hoping you've managed to pick one up by now. I don't think you can get it free anywhere over the counter, but your local GUM clinic or GP may be able to give you one. I wouldn't wait too long as they become less reliable by the hour.

There are some really good resources out there to help you learn about your body and how it functions. It's very empowering as a woman to understand what is going on in there. There were a lot of things I didn't know at 18 and wish I did!

Best of luck.

Just some experience for you (I'm 19) and took the morning after pill 2 years ago and it didn't actually work! Took it within 5 hours of intercourse and wasn't sick/ taking any medication! Not trying to scare you! I know that boots / brook offer free morning after pills Smile

Try local sexual health clinics. Our GP surgery hosts one each week so there may be somewhere local that does for you too.

You need to find a chemist that advertises "help 72". You can say that if you see the sign and you will get free emergency contraception. Or a local CASH clinic (contraceptive and sexual health). They can also sort more regular contraception to stop all this worry.

You are however highly unlikely to get pregnant at this stage of your cycle.

Google where your nearest drop in sexual health clinic is. They will give you the morning after pill for free. The sooner you take it the more likely it is to work. They will go through where in your cycle you are and how likely you are to get pregnant. If it seems likely that you would get pregnant and the morning after pill would not be likely to prevent it they would offer you something like the emergency IUD (the coil) which would certainly prevent you from becoming pregnant.
