This is our first time trying for a baby, I know everyone is different but I have some questions...

I was on the pill you continuously take and don't have a period, for any of you who were on the same...

How long did it take you to coniceve after your very last pill?

And

How long until you had regular periods, if at all?

Thanks girls ☺️

The first time I came off cerazette I got pregnant straight away with my eldest son.

The second time I came off I got pregnant 3 cycles later with my second son.

My cycles were long to begin with, 40+ days before my third cycle with my son at (what would have been) 33 days. When I came off for non-TTC reasons it used to take a few months to get back to normal

I was on cerazette for 3/4 years (I lost count lol) but I did get a bleed roughly every 4-5 weeks.

I came off it in February and had a really heavy withdrawal bleed. Needed a hot water bottle and it was like nothing I remember ever experiencing before. That lasted 4 days. I then had a 23 day cycle and the lightest period ever. I do not believe I ovulated that cycle.

Now on cycle 2 and it’s going well. Quite sure I ovulated last week so we’ll find out in another week or so how that went :)

Just be prepared that stopping your pill has some side effects that are VERY similar to pregnancy symptoms. Do not drive yourself mad googling everything, it’s not fun!

I stopped cerezette in December and it took 20 days for AF to arrive. Ive since been TTC and have had regular 24 day cycles. This is cycle 3 and as always hoping for bfp this month!
I had a similar experience to Stephisaur in the few weeks after stopping the pill...cramps, nausea, sickness, food aversions, the lot! But it was just my body adjusting to stopping the pill.
