Anyone help me understand my bbt?

Hi,

I've been charting my bbt to help me pin point ovulation as opks don't seem to work for me.
Looking at my chart, it looks like I've ovulate smack in the middle of the 1st one.
But my 2nd one is all over the shop!!
Any ideas as to why I'm getting such peaks and troughs?

Are you temping at the same time every day? Before you’ve got up, moved, woken up properly?
Are you doing it orally? I put the thermometer in the exact same place under my tongue every morning.

Yep, same time everyday. I literally have my thermometer next to my head while I sleep so I barely move to take my temp lol x

Looks like you might sleep with your mouth open. Try temping vaginally.
