Who’s TTC a Christmas Baby. March 2018

Not that I specifically want a Christmas baby. But my LMP was the 20th March so that means, going by a 28 day cycle, if I fell pregnant this month, Baby’s ‘estimated’ due date would be Christmas Day!!!!!!!!

It’s the first month that I’ve felt ready to start trying again after a miscarriage and my cycles haven’t been completely regular.
Ranging from 27 - 30 days. So I’m using OPK’s and Temping to try and pinpoint ovulation.

Should be ovulating within the next 4 days.

Anyone else actively trying this week?

Hi magical creatures, sorry to hear about your MC. yes I am with you! Although I know i wouldn't want my birthday around Christmas time!!
I had my LMP 17th March and ovulated around 27th March so currently just waiting! My cycles are 24 days long so would be due AF 10th April.

Morning ladies. Sorry for your loss @MagicalCreatures. I'm in the same boat, 3rd cycle since MC.
I'm now 5dpo and due date would be 17th December. I never wanted a Christmas baby until I lost my little bean. Now I couldn't care less when a baby comes I just wanna hold my rainbow.

I know, and I wouldn’t wanna be giving birth Christmas Day. But the chances are slim ofcorse. And we can’t let that stop us.

Hello, me! I checked the due date calculator and it said if we got pregnant this cycle I would be due 30th December. Still, don't want to miss a cycle!

TTC #1, Cycle 9 I think, first cycle using medication. Last cycle was 45 days and the one before that was 49 so I'm hoping the medication evens it out a bit! No idea when I'll ovulate but if the meds do their work I should in the next week.

What medication are you taking. And is it to specifically help shorten your cycles or something then.
And ofcorse, never want to miss a cycle. Like some people say, baby’s come whenever they want. Could be 2 months early or 2 weeks late x

I am too! This is my first cycle post MMC so I would be very lucky - we can but dream!

Got a static smiley on CB OPK this morning so will be getting busy this weekend. I'm 29 and TTC #1. I think my due date would be around 16th Dec.

Long cycles seem to be settling around 38days atm but got my first flashy face on OPK this morning so fingers crossed this week is a good one!!
A Christmas baby isn’t ideal necessary, but hey ho...I’m not going to be picky!!

I'm not doing too much symptom spotting cos since the mmc, but body has had weird twinges like when I was pregnant. But we DTD 8 days in a row from cd8-cd15 and I ovulated on cd14. I'm using natural progesterone cream from 1dpo-12dpo and eating pineapple core from 1dpo-5dpo. We used fertility check lube every time and I have a nice relaxing weekend. There is NOTHING more I can do this month. So I'm quite relaxed. The TWW is killing me only cos I'm impatient and wanna test but I'm optimistic for the first time in a while. And hey.... if it's not this month... it might be next month.

CD17 of cycle #2 for me (TTC #1) so in my 2WW now :) EDD would be 20/12

Pretty sure I ovulated on Tuesday so now it’s just a waiting game :)

@magicalcreatures yep I’m temping, just started my opk testing, this month I splashed out for digit so that’s been kinda fun so far!

I’m in tww currently day 24. Christmas baby isn’t ideal but didn’t want to not try and it’s been 9 months now. Good luck everyone!

Always thought before I started TTC that I would want to avoid a Christmas baby, but having had a loss I now don't really care when I'd be due as long as I can have a healthy pregnancy and baby. Fingers crossed for us all!

Hello everyone. TTC #2 after mc in early February. I’m pretty sure I ovulated on Wednesday. I used to want a boy as #1 is a girl and not a Christmas baby. A mc changes everything and I don’t care. I would just like a healthy baby.

We used sperm friendly lube. What is the progesterone cream?

It took a year first time round to get our LO, I can’t deal with that again!!

@Tobebythesea totally the same as you. Any healthy baby with do at any time.
The cream is serenity natural progesterone cream. Totally self diagnosed. But after my miscarriage and a lot of rocky LP temps I just decided it can't hurt. You rub it on twice a day from ovulation until AF. If I get my bfp this time, I'm going for full private testing as I can't handle a second loss. It totally broke me.

@TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong It's taken me a LONG time to get to this outlook. A lot of break downs and a lot of misery since my MMC. And now I've removed all deadlines and barriers and just said hey we'll keep trying until we get there and so what if it's not a 2018 baby. All i care is that we get our baby. Plus we did everything we could this month. So I feel good. If we don't catch the egg and get our little bean, then it's really not meant to be!

As for alcohol, I'm not doing great! Haha, too many reason to celebrate. I'm currently 5dpo. Haven't drunk since O. Until tonight I had a glass of wine. I've cut back the coffee. But I find that if I cut back loads I feel shit when AF arrives. So I'll stop once I get my BFP. I try to cut back in the TWW.

@TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong I’m not doing so bad this month. Last month was killer but this month I’m feeling a bit more chilled out. I guess it’ll be what it’ll be, honestly I’m just happy I seem to have ovulated this month as I’d been on the pill for 10 years so it’s nice that everything still seems to work for the time being 😂

My LMP was the 1st March. No sign of AF and FF predicted it would arrive last Monday. So I'm in serious limbo land 😞

Will test again tomorrow, but CBD as Sainsbury's didn't have any FRERs 😡

@TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong I’m holding out ok. Symptom spotting but not getting many symptoms but every little thing I’m googling! I tell myself this is the month I will remain calm and not turn into a crazy person but then the tww comes around! This month it seems dtd was most perfectly timed so did all we could!

@AliceScarlett what are your temps doing? Possibly anovulatory cycle maybe? Or just late ovulation? Feel free to post your chart and I can give a second opinion if you'd like.
