Got these this morning. Pretty sure they’re evaps, but how do you really know?

Talk to me about evaps please

Evap lines are grey/ colourless and tend to develop outside the time limit as the strip dries or if you crack a test out of the case.

Those don’t look pink to me, sadlySad

MyDcAreMarvel · 29/03/2018 09:50

How long did it take for those lines to show up?

MotherTruckerrr · 29/03/2018 09:56

Started to see them straight away

Evap/ indents are grey/ colourless and sometimes a bit shiney. If they came up in the time but are grey, I'd say they are indents.

Wellthisunexpected · 29/03/2018 11:33

Is that a new batch of tests?

Having seen your previous threads, I would expect them to be darker now.

I suspect you got a duff batch.

MotherTruckerrr · 29/03/2018 11:45

New packet of tests. Hmm

Bubblegum89 · 29/03/2018 14:04

They are evaps, they’re extremely faint and are grey. I don’t really understand why you’re continuing to take test after test after being told on your other thread by many people that all your previous ones were negative but whatever floats your boat

SoozC · 29/03/2018 14:36

Did you buy a frer?

MotherTruckerrr · 29/03/2018 14:40

Ye totally floating my boat. Got fuck all else to do so thought I’d take up a new hobby. Thanks for checking in though

Those cheapy tests are a load of crap. I did one on the day AF was due. I'd just had a blazing BFP on a FRER where the control and test lines were the same level of boldness, and yet the cheap test had barely the squintiest of squinters. They're not worth the hassle at all and cause more anxiety than they alleviate.

SoozC · 29/03/2018 14:44

Yeah, I said similar on the previous thread. I had a frer bfp but a negative cheapie. That's why I recommended a frer.

ShowOfHands · 29/03/2018 14:56

I've had it the other way round with clear ic positives and a negative frer.

Sounds like there's more to this than just these threads though?

MynameisJune · 29/03/2018 15:12

Is this your 2nd thread? Those above are clearly indents as they have no colour.

Why not just get a frer or a digital? Haven’t you been testing for at least a week now? If you’ve been getting lines on all these tests then you should get a line on a fr or digi. Then you’d know for definite rather than having to POAS every morning.

Patienceofatoddler · 29/03/2018 15:15

What tests are these?

Sure I got some like this free with my ovulation strips.

Are these tests not recommended then? (hence giving them away lol??)

No idea original poster if in doubt I'd invest in better tests but if you've been taking them a few days and no change it's suggests no I would have thought.

Wellthisunexpected · 29/03/2018 20:51

On your other thread I could see lines, but given how long it's been I really don't think you are pregnant. I had a squintiest of squinted this morning and a clear positive from a frer this evening. If you were pregnant, you be getting clearer tests by now.

SoozC · 31/03/2018 15:21

Did you do a frer? What's the update, OP?
