TTC - need some advise please 😬

I came off yasmin 2 weeks ago as my partner and I decided now Is The time, I have a 10 year old daughter from a previous relationship and he has a son of 13 from a previous one. I wasn’t taking it correctly, as soon as we both said we were ready I’d hope id be able to finish the pack then Start trying but I’m far too impatient... anyway last week I had a bleed which I guess was a withdrawal bleed, for a couple of days and nothing since, my breasts are sore and I feel tired and a bit light headed, I keep getting these weird feelings in my stomach too!

How long can it take to fall pregnant after being on the pill.. been on it for about 10 months

I'm pretty new here too! I was on Yasmin for 6 years and stopped at the end of jan. Got my first real period on 4th March and I didn't even get my usual withdrawal bleed after finishing the pack in jan. Technically you could get pregnant as soon as you are no longer protected by the pill as long as you ovulate. I actually don't know if I've ovulated yet this month as I haven't done many ovulation tests. However first week or so in Feb I got what looked like quite a positive one so seems like I could have got pregnant but I didn't. We also didn't really know anything about when to do the deed in the fertile period during/after ovulation so weren't fully trying. A lot of the ladies on here will be able to help you with more info that have more experience than me so far🙂. I asked all the same questions when I came off the pill. I also had a lot of symptoms coming off Yasmin. I was bloated all over horribly and my nipples and boobs were seriously sore. I thought I was pregnant! Hopefully you have conceived! When you say you weren't taking it properly do you mean you were missing some before you stopped taking them?

Yes we discussed ttc a couple of months back so I got really slack taking them 🤭 now completely off so I can get my body prepared 😬

All so I exciting but technical!!! I think we are more in touch with our bodies when we are ttc, everything seems a symptom!!!

No reason why you weren't fertile straight away. Fingers crossed for a baby!

It could happen straight away, it took me over 12 months for my periods to come back though.
