Hi everyone
I’m very new here! I’m 26 and my boyfriend is 29. We are wanting to try for a baby!
I’m wondering if you could help me with something?
What are your experiences of coming off cerazette? I have been off it a week now and I was wondering how long it took for the withdrawal bleed. I’ve come off the pill in hope of losing a little weight and getting my body back to normal before pregnancy.
Also, I am also overweight (my bmi says I should be 10st10lb, this is way too slim for me). How much did you weigh during pregnancy and how much weight did you put on? Sorry if this is a little too personal.
Thanks so much in advance for all your help! I appreciate it more than you know Smile

I didn't get a withdrawal bleed literally fell preg within a week or two being off it! I was 24. Must have still been ovulating but it's fairly easy to come off . I gained about four stone . Baby was 9lb most of it water weight as I peed it all out the first week or two then had a stone or so of fat to come off . U don't even care in the early days ur just so loved up in this perfect baby bubble with ur beautiful baby. I thought I would be so caught up in how much I weighed and I gained a lot but by time I was due I thought fuck it I WILL have a kfc today because look what my body has created! 😂😂😂 good luck and lots of baby dust .

I came off it on 18th Feb and got my withdrawal bleed on the 20th. I had bleeds while I was on it though so not sure if that makes a difference.

My first cycle off it has been tough because I’d forgotten what my body is actually supposed to do. I’m optimistic for this next cycle though :)

Regards weight, I’m actually really overweight (almost obese although I wouldn’t have said I look it) and trying to slim back down a bit.

I had my first period 6 weeks after finishing it and continued to have them every 24 days since.

I fell pregnant within 3 months of stopping taking Cerazette. Had a bleed a couple of weeks after stopping, then a regular period after that. Not sure of the exact cycle days as I wasn't keeping too much track, didn't want to put too much pressure on myself for the first few months!
I gained about 3 stone during pregnancy, Dd is now 4 months so now starting to think about dieting & getting back to normal - I think it's important to be kind to yourself in the early baby days & not get too caught up in losing weight! Good luck!

How exciting. These were exciting times when I decided to stop to pill to try and conceive. I was on the pill for 14 years when I stopped taking it (cerazette) to try for a baby. I went straight into a period and fell pregnant within the next cycle.
I weighed 11st 3 when I fell pregnant and with my first child I put on 4st! 😬😫 my second child I only put on 2.5st! But they were both huge babies (9lb10 and 10lb7).
Good luck with it all x
