CD confusion after withdrawal bleed...HELP!!

So.... I came off my pill (microgynon) one week before the end of the packet, I had what I’m assuming was a withdrawal bleed 2/3 days later which lasted for 6 days...I had been counting the first day of this bleed as CD1 (26 Feb). However I’m now wondering whether I should be using the date that AF WOULD have been due as CD1 instead i.e 1 week later (5March).

I got a positive LH surge on CD17 (or CD10?!) haven’t been having any cramps until today, CD28 (or CD21) but have been feeling very ‘pregnant’ - overly tired, emotional, weird taste in my mouth, sore boobs etc. for the last 5 days or so.

I took a hpt today and was bfn....wondering am I a week ahead of myself or am I just due AF?

Sorry for the confusing question and explanation...first month ttc, I also have a 10 year old so very out of practice!

Any advice would be much appreciated!!

Thanks xxx

CD1 is the first day of your withdrawal bleed.

That said, it's rare to go straight into a regular cycle off the pill so you're unlikely to ovulate around CD14 as you would after AF.

If you had an LH surge on CD17 then I'd trust that and test on CD31 if still no AF

Thank you for your reply! I know my chances are slim being the first month ttc as well as not having a proper cycle due to the pill...but it’s just so tempting to keep testing! 🙈 xx

I would count day one as the first day of your withdrawal bleed.

When I had my coil out my first cycle was 34 days, gradually shortened back to 28 over the next few months. PMS symptoms were all over the place too at first.
