I've had my copper iud removed today.. & I've been tracking my periods & ovulation window.
Was just wondering if there's any successful stories of couples TTC soon after IYD removal?

It took us 5 month to get pregnant after my copper IUD was removed, which is well within what’s considered normal. Unfortunately it ended in miscarriage but that’s nothing to do with the IUD!

Sorry to hear that hunni.
Is it fact that the IUD doesn't effect your cycle ? Did yours stay the same?

My cycle stayed the same - I wasn’t on hormonal iud, so no changes for me except a lighter period.

I got pregnant on the first cycle after copper iud removal.

That's brilliant. I hope that's the case with me. I'm estimated to be ovulating next week :)

It's all the individual. I had my copper coil out in November 2015. Started hardcore ttc in April 2016 and I'm still not pregnant. My cycles became longer and more irregular. Periods much lighter.
