Did I have an early miscarriage?

I'm a bit confused with what's going on so if anyone can shed light on this it would be appreciated.

My period was a week late and throughout the week I took tests all of which said negative. I then bled for 4 days and stopped - my periods tend to be light and last for about a week. A couple of days later I stated to bleed again, still just very light.

Last night in the bath I found something floating. I can only describe it as blood tinged wet skin. It may have been something differe t but it had that texture to it.

Any thoughts?

It could be a clot, just a piece of uterine lining. Or it could be an early loss.

Your doctor may be able to confirm either way, I'm not 110% sure on that though. But I'd think if your bloods indicated a fall in HCG that would suggest a miscarriage.

I'm sorry though OP. There's the possibility you may never know. Were you hoping to be pregnant?

Sounds like just a period. Sometimes you get a late one for no obvious reason and sometimes it's a bit different than normal.

Yes we're ttc#2. All the tests I took were negative though so I'll just leave it as a bit of a mystery.

If the embryo or sac was big enough to see then the tests would have been positive.
