Help! Positive opk around AF due?

So I started doing the dual smiley faces clear blue test around day 10 as my cycles are varied and I don't know when I could ovulate. Started getting the smiley flashing faces no positive. Then I tested again and got negatives (used both types of clear blue opk tests). Then for the last few days I've been getting clear ewcm - tested this morning and got a positive opk this afternoon on the pink tests!! My Ovia app says my period was due yesterday - but Im irregular so I am now very confused . Am I actually ovulating now? Why'd I get smiley faces before??

Have you taken a pregnancy test? I've heard some people have gotten a positive opk due to pregnancy. If not maybe do the deed a bit just in case x

Could be pregnancy - check that.

Or could be that you didn't actually release an egg within the cycle (despite LH surge) and your body is trying again as a last ditch attempt to get pregnant before AF.

Defo test for pregnancy but you can get more than one surge each cycle. If you surge but didn't actually ovulate you could surge later in the month, your period with then be late this is why you periods may seem irregular. Fingers crossed but I'd DTD the next couple days if you're ttc.

Positive opks are normal at the time your af is due.

Tested today for pregnancy test this morning - negative but got positive opks all day so going to try and BD for the next few days and see what happens! 😬
