Have you taken a test? Shoulder tip pain can indicate ectopic. Ectopics will give a positive test, so take one to rule it out.

Baybeelou · 23/03/2018 17:28

Not taken one yet physicskate . I will take one in morning though it's just strange as these are some of the symptoms i get when I'm about to come on never after wards and my periods are always the same woth out fail

When I had my ectopic pregnancy I didn’t get a positive until about 10 days after I was due my period (as in, it was 10 days late), the doctor told me that slow-rising hCG, and therefore a delayed positive, is a common sign of an ectopic, but I had never heard that before and thought a negative meant it couldn’t be one. Not saying that’s what’s happening to you, but if you get a negative but still have pain, take another one a few days later.

Thank you I will do the test in the morning. Hopefully it's not anything bad and it's just my body being strange this time around, just has me thinking where its never happened after having a very light and strange so called af which is not normal for me as my periods are always the same every month

I had this with my ectopic, take a test but go to your doctors anyway as sometimes ectopic may not show up on test xxx

Not to alarm you but shoulder pain is one of the symptoms of ecoptic pregnancies. The epu take ecoptics very seriously as there is the potential for it to go bad quickly. I'd call the 111 number and see what they say. Appreciate you haven't actually had a positive test yet, but it's better to be safe than sorry in my opinion.

I had a suspected ecoptic in august. It was already resolving itself but I had to stay in hospital for 2 days just in case. In the end it was very uneventful. So having an ecoptic doesn't automatically mean you will have intervention.

@Baybeelou hope you’re ok xx

Baybeelou · 24/03/2018 20:14

@ilikebread I'm ok still getting sore boobs and a achy back. Done a test and says I'm not dunno if it's the stress of having a strange week last week with a abnormal period for me and mine are never abnormal or I'm just over thinking things
