Trying to conceive.

My partner and I are trying to conceive. Did the whole ovulating tracker, best days to do it etc etc. My period is now 2 days late and I have a lot of pregnancy symptoms. Tingly/painful breasts, butterflies in my lower stomach etc. Used First response pregnancy tests a couple of times over the last few days and they've been BFN. Honestly driving myself insane! How long did it take you ladies to get a BFP? And with what brand? This is all new to me as my first pregnancy just happened. Hate all this waiting around :(

Have you tried to do one this morning? I’d use your first morning urine. I used first response 3 days before AF And it picked it up but everyone’s different, my fingers are crossed for you :)

Hormones don't increase at the same speed for everyone. Wait 2 days and test again.

Try to ignore all symptoms, mostly they're indistinguishable from pms. You'll just drive yourself mad.

I did try one today in the afternoon because I couldn't wait any longer haha It was a negative :( I'll leave it a couple of days and do it first thing in the morning. I just needed some reassurance because I'm so desperate for it just to say positive! But yeah I'll just wait it out. Just so impatient

You sound just like me!! First baby was a complete surprise and now I'm desperate to get pregnant...

All I would say is try not to symptom spot. I was 9 days late and had every symptom even more than I ever had with first baby every test I did was negative and then AF turned up on the 10th day!! I was absolutely gutted to say the least! So it can be that a period is late hopefully for you it's not the case.

I then had barely any symptoms again and got BFP last month after two days of being late unfortunately I MC so I'm back to the drawing board!

Yeah I've just been reading about ovulating later in the month and thus the period showing up later. So that's playing in my head I'm usually pretty regular though. So I'm still hoping! I'm so sorry you went through that, must've been horrible Thank you and I really really hope it all works out for you too @custardcream5
