Can clear blue pregnancy test be wrong?

Period was due on wed, had some brown spotting tues night on and off until yesterday morning. My periods have been like clockwork for the last 6 months (26 day cycles).

Took a clear blue test yesterday morning so day 2 of missed period and it said a clear not pregnant.

Period still not shown up today, and I'm wondering if the clear blue might be wrong. Thought I'd wait until Sunday and if still no period test again.

Around the date I was ovulating we didn't have full unprotected sex but his penis was inside me before putting a condom on so it is possible although highly unlikely.

Just wondering if these tests can be wrong or if my period is just late. It does say 98% accurate and was with y last two pregnancies from the very day of my missed period.

Your period is late more than likely

I have heard lots of women say it took them a lot longer to get a positive on a digital - try a non digital instead

My digital didn’t pick it up until a couple of days after missed AF, whereas FRER was 4 days before AF. Try a FRER or, probably better to wait Smile
