How early can nausea happen?

Period is due anything from 1-5 days (irregular cycle) and the last two days I've felt that special kind of pg nausea and bad taste in my mouth. I want to eat all the time to help it ease. Is it at all possible to experience ms before a missed period?

I have a terrible time with HG or morning sickness, with the worst I was first sick the day before my period was due and with the others I was sick within a week of my period due and usually within days.

PatchworkElmer · 22/03/2018 16:11

I started being sick at about 5 weeks.

I projectile vomited at exactly 4 weeks. Hadn't taken a test at that point. Nearly didn't bother because it was so obvious that I was.

Hmm so it is possible. We're not trying but we're using condoms and it is possible. I am not sure I can cope with ms again like last time Envy

With all 3 I was severely nauseous around a week before the test, so week 3.

With DC3, I threw up same day as test. The celebratory period between the positive test and feeling shit, was short lived.

So, I’d say early sickness is very much possible.

Oh blimey. It must be unlikely, he hadn't ejaculated in me but we did have a condom slip off once this cycle.

My other major symptom, pre test, was very sensitive to smells.

greatBritishBogOff · 22/03/2018 17:31

Yes I feel like that. It just feels like that very specific pg nausea feeling, weird taste/smells and constant nibbling. No other symptoms though.

Belching, I'm belching all the time actually.

Dh gone to get a test today. I still feel sick, woke up with it. Not sure how much of it is panic now though. My shortest cycle is due today so potentially into missed period territory now.

I am so sorry for those of you struggling to conceive. I've been there and couldn't get my head around threads like this. I felt my family was complete now though, it's perfect in every way and our lifestyle works well. That's why another one would be a massive decision.

Flowers

We're in the same position. We have 3, and we're complete.

Any potential additions would be a decision I'm not sure I could make, either way.

So. Whichever way you're hoping for, fingers crossed x

3 weeks for me. In fact I had nausea, heartburn , wiped out and sore boobs at 3 weeks. We were using condoms and no mishaps at all so wasn't looking for symptoms either. I got a positive at 10dpo.

I've read lots of here that it's in your imagination if it's that early but honestly pregnancy wasn't even on my radar. When I started vomiting and suffering with pgp I took a test.

I hope you get the result you want!

Thanks for those replies, I was worried I'd upset/anger people. Test was negative but it would be so early I'm only mildly reassured! However, I am feeling a bit better and certainly more positive. It would be dc4 and I honestly don't know which way we'd go. I think we'd go ahead but it wouldn't be ideal for us.

My boobs are their usual floppy selves(!) and no tenderness at all 🤞🏻

That’s a relief. I’d hate the choice either way of 4th pregnancy or termination.

Some Wine in order!
